Are you driving the X7? If so, the RPM's are pretty low for 90 mph, (similar to my Sienna), which has a 6 speed auto. But man, you are way, way to close to that car in front of you. All it would take is someone in the front hitting their brakes, and now you have a 10 car pile-up

Here I was banking I could brake quicker/shorter than this flatbed.
someone who works for me just thought something similar recently while driving with their mother and grandmother in the car. their car is now totaled and my guy's been in a sling for a month. thankfully mom and grandma were banged up but not permanently hurt.
@bitkahuna Sit in the passenger seat and take a nap or read your kindle like my wife does when she’s not asleep.
Bragging about driving dangerously is an interesting flex.
I wasn’t bragging
and it didn’t feel dangerous to me.
Some may say driving in ludicrous mode doing 0-60 pulls vs the car next to you may seem dangerous and may look like a flex but hey I’m not saying that either.
Drive in your own comfort zone. The cars/trucks in front of me were comfortable running those speeds. The ones who weren’t were in the right lane.

No. In my truck.

yeah...
no.
Pray he has a full recovery and mom and grandma are ok. Thank you for your concern.
Yep. I've seen way too many pile ups. At 90 mph you would not have enough time to stop if someone in front of you suddenly braked. And no safety features are going to save you or your family
If you think this is a question of comfort zone you don't get it. Its not safe period regardless of who the driver is, like Lex said its physics.

The streets and highways are safe for another 500 miles. I just filled up the Prius. The Prius is good at keeping a safe 3-4 car length distance. Line dancing on the highway is physic(ally) not capable.
This is neither here nor there, but I was looking at my PGE bill (which is the utility company in CA)
Even though I am on the EV rate, which means lower off peak kw cost, I can't believe how much Im paying. It would be cheaper to charge in public, including at a supercharger.
$.13 for electricity generation charge + $.30 for the electricity delivery = $.43 per kw.

Join the club, brother. What PG&E does should be totally illegal. Even with Solar, I'm still paying PG&E 0.30 cents per kWh for...delivery? Really?? The only way to avoid their charges would be to over generate my electricity and store it in a battery pack, but because I have 3 EV's we are charging, I'm no longer over generating. In the winter months, I'm barely generating 15 or 20 kWh a day. If I show you this months electricity bill, you would be shocked. And our Governor enabled PG&E to be in this position, and vetoed a bill (SB 1374) that overturned a CPUC decision to allow the expansion of solar to schools and apartment buildings

Gotta build the war chest for all those wildfires that are caused by their unmanaged equipment
