When I was 19, I could pass out at 2am and sleep just about anywhere that was a semi-flat surface. Then get up the next day and start drinking again like nothing happened. Now, if my pillow isn't fluffed up to the exact needed thickness, I wake up the next morning and can't turn my head to the left for 2 weeks.

Always in boost. I believe one time I saw my mpg after track day was around 3mpg With fuel mods (bigger pump, fuel line and hopefully very low E content) driving normal around town I can see 24mpg around town.

Just got back from a roadtrip in the X where the speed limit was 60-75. Mostly 75. I ran 85ish the entire time. Had Waze running and there was a cop was ahead. I got within .1- .2 miles of where it said the cop was and I was running 94 in the right lane. It was 2 cops sitting on the side. Have to set cruise control cause it can get away from you without you noticing.

Texas has 85mph tollways. 😁 Run 91-92ish. Back when I first started towing when I used to race bikes, I used to care about mpg, I wouldn’t take that 85mph highway so I can could drive slower. I actually used to run 65-70 max when towing because that’s what I read on the inter webs.

If my wife is in the car, her limit is more like 2.5-3. If I can charge for ~20 minutes while we do those things that we're going to do anyway, doesn't really change the trip at all.
My wife is asleep before we leave town. She will sleep pretty much the entire trip. Doesn’t matter if she’s been in bed all night. 4hr trip I don’t drink any fluids so don’t need any bathroom stops. Any trip longer I may take a sip. Kids can go around 5hrs or so without stopping. Multiple trips doing this. We pack a bag full of snacks and everyone except me has a Stanley. All I need is pack of gum.

Recent trip we had our mid 70s yr old Aunt with us and I stopped at Bucees after 3hrs of driving. We planned on stopping at Bucees before we left home. Coming back home, I flew right past Bucees. Idk about you guys but I tend to drive a little faster on the way back home.

We’re a drive until we arrive to up our destination or need fuel family 💀

Oh I'm with you on dance competitions, it's full on competitions now through July for me with regional travel until Nationals in Orlando in July. Most expensive "sport" ever.

My daughter, it was soccer, and my son Jujitsu/MMA. He still competes and is pretty good, he beats guys much bigger than him. Thankfully, it's all been local

This is our first year competing. I look at it like the of cost of modding vehicles, try not to think about the cost let alone add it all up.

Practice 4 days a week. 160 miles per week just driving back and forth to practice. Most likely I’m driving 3 different vehicles today to spread the miles around.

If you are doing all that driving, I wouldn't put all those miles on the Bimmer, I would use the RAV4 or get a Tesla

An EV would definitively come in handy. I killed the breaker on my level 2 charger since we don’t have a use for it for time being.😔

@AMIRZA786 I’m like @SW17LS I need carplay. Although my daughter loves teslas and EVs in general. We always point them out. I typically drive the Supra or FK8 to dance practice. She hates riding in the Prius. 😆 I’ve been driving my truck and Prius this week since the weather has been crappy ☔️🌧️
Prius would most likely have to die before I can replace it with an EV.

I'm not trying to re-hash the "I need ACP" argument, but is it for Maps? Because Tesla has updated their maps to where you don't need anything else. Is it for Apple Music? Because Tesla's have built in Apple Music it uses natively. Or you can stream directly through BT. And it doesn't have to be a Tesla

I would just use the Prius and put all the miles on it since you already have it, and I assume it's paid off. Right now our Model Y is our beater, we just hit 31K on it, and other than tire rotation and windshield wiper fluid, it's been maint free. Even the tires have about another year on them. Brakes still look brand new

We’re just used to having/using CP. Putting CP in the Prius it driveable for some. We’re approaching 159k miles on it. Still on the same brakes. I must be the only person that doesn’t use windshield wiper fluid.🤣 I do for some reason have a full jug of windshield wiper fluid in my garage. I don’t remember buying it but it’s sitting next to my ATF that I know I’ve had for over 14yrs never been open. I bought it for the 3rd gen 4Runner I had at the time I was beginning to use for towing.

Speaking of Prius. I just got back home in it. Something interesting (or not) happened today. Won’t post it here.

160 miles per week is just driving back and forth to practice. The competitions are 4hr drives. One way. And that’s just regional.
