No new plaid until a significant upgrade to the Model S.

Fair enough. You probably saw my post on Friday regarding the test drive of the 2025 Model S, and they made a bunch of improvements with road isolation and suspension tuning. My coworker and I went over it pretty thoroughly, and couldn't find any issues with fit and finish. My coworker is a Porsche guy (also owns the new Model 3) and knows his stuff and told me the quality was amazing. But yes, Im hearing roomers of a some upcoming updates
The GM engineer did tell me charging is slow when he uses Level 2. I’m sure part of that is due to how large the battery is right.
slow with what vehicle? gm tends to put in huge batteries to compensate for poor range so recharging is going to take longer regardless.
and yes, level 2 (AC) is going to be 5-30 times slower than DC public charging. but most do level 2 overnight so not an issue unless you drive a hummer ev long distances each day! (its battery is 2.5x the capacity of my ioniq 5's!)
