As SW already stated, gas engine is coming. As far as predicting if it will be a flop, I can't say. It's just I can't see current Dodge charger owners buying this

I read some disappointing news regarding the Hyundai Ioniq 5. It seems they are going to be halting production for one week in February due to disappointing sales. Sales have increased YoY, but not as much as hoped. Also competition from BYD is hurting sales in Asia and Europe

Even Tesla is getting hit in the Chinese market.

On the Hyundai article, I was thinking the numbers didn't make sense, I believe they sold over 44k vehicles in the US in 2024. It was bothering me, so I posted it here to see if someone else could weigh in

Maybe in 2025 but in 2024 China was the only major region where Tesla sales increased for the company.

Could be wrong but the vibe I get is EV sales are down almost everywhere, FUD works.

I deleted a post that delved heavily into politics, along with a response.

You all know the rules, but apparently a reminder is in order. NO POLITICS. Going to start booting people from the thread.

What did I miss? What did I miss?? 😂 JK, I saw it in the notification email

Fud has been around for awhile, I just live with it and move on. In the end, the EV industry will either overcome fud and flourish, or whither away. I'm betting it will eventually flourish, but I'm a half cup full kinda of guy

Tesla will refund your money if there is an issue with the car, or you can just reverse the credit card charges. It's only $250.

You know you can find horror stories for any car that exists

Reddit guy deposit was $1000.

And you’re right. My friend said his M3LR was in great condition although he also wasn’t able to see his car before putting a deposit on it and signing a paper. His deposit was $250. So he said after reading this, he feels extremely lucky he got one in good condition. He said his had new tires and he didn’t even notice any swirls in his paint. OnIy thing I’m aware of is they had to replace his screen within the 1st month or so after he took ownership.
