We’re just used to having/using CP. Putting CP in the Prius it driveable for some. We’re approaching 159k miles on it. Still on the same brakes. I must be the only person that doesn’t use windshield wiper fluid.🤣 I do for some reason have a full jug of windshield wiper fluid in my garage. I don’t remember buying it but it’s sitting next to my ATF that I know I’ve had for over 14yrs never been open. I bought it for the 3rd gen 4Runner I had at the time I was beginning to use for towing.
Speaking of Prius. I just got back home in it. Something interesting (or not) happened today. Won’t post it here.
160 miles per week is just driving back and forth to practice. The competitions are 4hr drives. One way. And that’s just regional.
I buy it in bulk from Amazon. Never leave home without a full tank of WWF

I don't believe in sparing your good car the miles. I would drive your X7 for every one of those miles.

Miles play a part when you trade out/sell often. I put 50k miles on Prius in one year. In that same year we put 20-22k miles on RX hybrid. In 5yrs my FK8 has right under 16k miles. The ‘23 RAV4 hybrid we still have has 38k miles. Our ‘23 Rav Prime had 32k miles. We drive. ALOT!!

The nice car is the one with gas in it 😆
Miles cost money, thats all. I lease remember and I am always over miles, and it always works out. I don't see the point in buying or leasing a great car and having it sit in the garage while I drive beater cars.
For instance, I would never choose to drive the Pacifica unless there was a reason I needed it. Not that its not a great car, it is...but if I can drive and enjoy my S580 I'm going to do that.
If you are doing all that driving, I wouldn't put all those miles on the Bimmer, I would use the RAV4 or get a Tesla
I drive my Tesla so far 20k miles a year which is why I have 60k miles on it. I think mine has the most miles on a Plaid for sale right now. A lot of driving back and forth to various practices every day and the one day a week I go to the office is the day I put the least amount of miles on my car.

We're just about 15k a year on the Y, and now that my wife starting driving it I suspect that will shoot up. So far it's been the least expensive car to drive that I've ever owned, with roughly about $60 a month in electricity costs, and no other maint costs except tire rotation. I have no plans to sell it, so mileage and wear and tear are not issues. Tires are probably going to be the next major expense next year

We have to share the love with all of the cars. LOL

This plays a part as well. Weather too. @SW17LS if you had a beater, guarantee if snow or hailstorm was in the forecast, your Mercedes wouldn’t leave the garage.
I’ve always had a beater since my freshman/sophomore year of college.
I would avoid the hailstorm but I would still drive my S Class in the snow
Same, we're going up to the Catskills today and snow and freezing rain are in the forecast. I've got fresh all seasons on the Ody, but we're taking the Rivian because it's more comfortable, has A/T tires, and can precondition to melt some of the snow
