Last night my friend showed me his Lucid Air he leased...couldn't take pics of it as it was too dark. I asked him what are his thoughts about it. Loved: fast, extremely efficient, very comfortable and range of nearly 400 miles. Hated: said the software sucks, front motors have this high pitched whine at low speeds, and when he supercharges it, the fans run so high it sounds like a jet engine.
He said he put in a call to Lucid customer support and suggested they fix their software, which is pretty buggy according to him
The volume of Prologues on the road is impressive. Anecdotally, my local VW dealer has 4 ID.buzz's on the lot with no buyers. Pricing isn't where it needs to be for that thing

I haven't driven a Prologue but I did get to ride in one as a passenger and it was a pleasant place to be. The guy who owned it was very happy with it.
On the ID.Buzz, it's the same story here. It's not just that the pricing is off, most of the dealers around here are still looking for ADM on top of the already questionable MSRP.
Hey @Elon, when's that Tesla frunk pizza warmer coming out? Asking for a friend who's currently using the rear heated seats of his EQS to transport his precious cargo. (Yes, my EQS has a hatchback, and it is superior.) Advantage: Mercedes. #EQS #Tesla #PizzaWars #FrunkFail #HeatedSeats

Nah, I'm happy with them but they'll all be phased out eventually 1 for sure this year.

I like Lucid Air but my wife doesn’t like the way they look at all. Way more luxurious on the inside compared to Tesla but what I don’t like is they put skinny wheels/tires on there that are really sunken in for such a big car. I would need to get new wheels with wider tires and better offsets if I had one but then I’m sure the mileage/range would drop off a lot. Would still be worth it.
According to NHTSA’s findings, Ford’s Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), a key component of BlueCruise, is programmed to ignore stationary objects when the vehicle is traveling at 62 mph (100km/h) or higher. This decision was made to prevent false detections at long distances that could lead to unnecessary braking, also known as phantom braking.
However, investigators have found that this system limitation may be a critical factor in the fatal crashes and several non-fatal incidents involving Ford vehicles. source

When I played around with one at the Lucid showroom, I didn't like how much creaking the interior bits had, especially that bottom screen that can fold up

Phantom braking doesn't seem so bad anymore.
I test drove one, and all I can say is the software needs a ton of work
As far as Phantom braking, haven't had it at all happen. I was coming home yesterday from the East Bay (Walnut Creek) after meeting up with an old friend, we had walked around downtown, so going home I was tired. Put it in FSD and the car drove the 680 freeway, which is constantly under construction and has winding roads with no issues. I only took control when reaching the exit
I haven't used the latest version of FSD much since we usually take the Rivian or the Ody, but with my old 3P, the phantom braking was mostly random overpass shadows. There was one area where it would consistently stomp the brakes - part of the highway was previously under construction and the Tesla nav wasn't updated when construction was complete. It would jump from a 65 mph speed limit to a 35 mph and hit the brakes. I just learned to disengage as I was approaching and reengage after a quarter mile or so.
