picked up my Model 3 rental. Used FSD for first time. It’s impressive. So impressive that my brother doesn’t want me to drive the car at all. He says let Tesla drive. 😂
Couple times I had to take over. Once leaving the red light my lane shifted to the right and there was a curb on my left and it was heading towards the curb. 2nd time stopped at a 4 way stop sign seem like it became confused whether to leave or not. Traffic was clear the system would nudge the gas but immediately brake, gas, brake. So I gave it a little gas and off it went on its own. So far over 30 miles pretty good even in tight little construction zones.
This is my brother first time a Tesla and he has ALOT of faith in FSD!!!😆
My daughter has anxiety when I use FSD, she has to look away, especially if she sees my hands away from the steering wheel.
It still needs some work, which is why it's smart for Tesla to give free monthly trials. It's collecting a ton of data, including when you nudge the throttle

Correct me if I’m wrong but something popped on the screen asked for my input on why I intervened the few times I did take over.
Also my brother and I were pretty amazed how it navigated itself through from the right lane 4 lanes left to my eventual exit.
Another place I took over was in construction where my lane was running out last second in traffic.
I plan on using it the entire time I have the rental. This one has the best quality out of all ones I’ve rented. It’s a 2023 with 18k miles.

When the pop up happens, you press the Right button on the steering wheel and leave a voice comment on why you intervened and it will send your feedback to Tesla for review
Ok this has happened 2x tonight. Traveling down 3 lane street, approaching intersection and my light is green and I’m using FSD and all of a sudden it’s hard on the brakes. It slowed so much that by the time turned yellow I was less than 5mph and it stopped. Left me confused. I called my friend who has couple of Teslas told him it’s almost like it predicted the yellow light.
Proceed down the same road and it does it again at another intersection and my light is green. So I intervene and give it gas and it resumes. My brother thinks because a car was approaching the intersection to stop maybe the system thought it may pull out in front of us. I was in the right lane both times.

I only use it mainly on freeways. It's fine 90 percent of the time on regular roads, but it's that 10 percent why I don't fully trust it, and neither should you . Keep in mind it's still a work in progress, which is why it supervised

It redeemed itself. It went around the curb I thought it would hit earlier. Tonight it correctly stopped and continued through a flashing red light. Going back through the same light but this time making a right turn, it wouldn’t budge from the light. I sat there for maybe a minute or hoping it would figure it out. I tapped the gas, it made the turn, and it continued on the route.
Grand Touring available now oh sorry to order now. Lucid and Rivian need to get extremely serious about cost cutting I'm baffled how they show no urgency to do so.
