Sounds like a good idea to me, seems as more owners (and potential owners) come here to search, it is getting a little more difficult to sift through. There is a lot of solid information here, but as it goes with most forums, begins to get repetitive. As we all become more aquainted with the car, it would be nice to discuss "new" information without searching through 99 threads of the same topic. Then and if new members read the FAQ, maybe less of the "search noob" replies and you could redirect to FAQ

What about a locked thread with just links to other thread with the actual content. The discussion can happen on the other thread...

Changing mirror puddle lamp: <link here>
Integrated Radar Detector: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=384179
Stock Intake Mod: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=383384

... etc ...

Can do. I think we should start with the 2IS FAQ as many of those items apply here as well.

That's the exact same thing the FAQ Lobuxracer posted is, just with the URL not exposed (click on the text)

I also put that link in the F Idiosyncrasies thread after seeing this. But I think an IS F FAQ would be great, using the 2IS FAQ built in as a quick reference for shared components and keeping links for the F specific components and issues. I agree it should be a locked thread with links to open threads as suggested

IS-F owners, let's do something with the FAQ and get it formalized!

I'm pasting in the FAQ from the 2IS as some of them apply to the IS-F and need your help with two things.

1) Continue nominating threads by posting here for the IS-F FAQ, be sure to post topic and URL link

2) Review the list below from the 2IS FAQ https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...tart-here.html and let me know if they apply to the IS-F or not. Just take the numbers and give me a yes/no or a link to them. If there is a similar thread that would work better that already exists in the IS-F forum then post that link!

1 no
2 no
3 yes
4 no

Here's the list to review (I'll do a second post here with hotlinks so you don't have to go back and forth, just too confusing to edit to add the numbers):

Section Two - Purchasing research and acquisition of a 2nd generation IS (2IS)
