I'm not going to rehash again, you can go back and see my review I did last year. You laugh about cost, but when a car that's half the cost, that needs virtually no maintenance and gets better mileage than a Prius can kick it's *** on the street, that's no laughing matter to me

the model 3 performance starts at $54,990 with few options.
so it's starting at well over $30K less.

Officer 👮♂️ Bit is going to chime in sometime tomorrow with his $0.02 but you may not realize it but you bring up and compare gas cars to EVs quite a bit then you continue to drag the gas cars through the mud. My friend has a Prologue. In his words, “I’m stuck with it for 2 more yrs.” I actually copied/paste his text. Meanwhile he recently picked up this red beauty. The FL5 may not be your cup of tea and you would chose the “better at everything” Prologue instead. And that’s ok because that’s your opinion.

He's just trying to pull me into an EV vs ice debate. He would lose that one handily. Between my Polestar and my non Performance Model 3, I've sent some pretty expensive fast cars to the cleaners ☺️
But what he's forgetting is I still love and respect ICE. He somehow thinks I have to hate one to drive the other. Sorry brother, doesn't work that way 🙂

I'll never understand the "my side or the wrong side" type discussions on this. I guess it's just mirroring present day society. I, for one, can not live with just a BEV. I also don't want to live without one.

No. The problem is all EVs aren’t better than gas cars at everything as you continue to point out. Then when a gas car does outperform an EV it’s always “well it’s 2x the price”…”I don’t mind to stop to charge for 10-20 min because I was going to stop to take a leak anyway”
