Just got a software update last night which included Tron mode and for whatever reason my phone now works normally again. No idea what happened.

Then it’s not iOS 26! At least it’s fixed.

I use both. I use the MB’s native navigation most of the time and its native audio setup because the audio quality is much better. When it comes to using the phone for calls or texts I use CarPlay because it just works much better.

In the Pacifica we only use CarPlay.

Defense of what? My phone connects perfectly with both my Tesla's. What needs to be defended?

Did you get the update last night on your 3/Y and if so have you tried Tron mode yet? I didn’t have time today to fool with it.

I actually got it a couple of updates back that gave me Tron mode. I did get an update I want to say Monday, but I think that is FSD v14. Haven't played with it yet (Tron mode)

You know as well as we do that nobody wants to hear the noises a Camry makes. An LC500, a 911, an M3...different story.

Well of course, people enjoy hearing their own performance car. Not worried about what other people hear.

Nothing wrong with not liking that sound, but nothing wrong with liking it either.
