Pretty vague at best, especially if you compare to some outrageous claims that the CEO of a particular EV company often makes. Either way, if Toyota succeeds, EV fires are going to be a thing of the past.
See what I mean? Toyota is the only company that mentions SSD batteries. No other EV maker makes much mention of them. Battery manufacturers and researchers is where you find most of the mentions
So is that a bad thing? If they are talking about it, perhaps they have confidence in their research.

Show me government statistics on how many Tesla's in the US just spontaneous catch fire (since they have sold the most EV'S). I'm not asking for some online spreadsheet uploaded by some individual, but hard unimpeachable government statistics

I am not sure such statistic is even being recorded.

LOL of course it would be. That's a public safety issue my friend. They removed my favorite drug Zantac because there was a "possible" link to cancer. C'mon, don't play that game

Because the Tesla fires are statistically insignificant. Tesla is the single most talked about car maker on the planet...you don't think if there was an actual fire issue with the car, it would be plastered all over the news for 6 months? Truth is that Teslas have been on the market for a very long time and there are millions of cars on the road and they just havent exhibited any fire issues. Hard for Och to accept but the truth is plainly evident. Occam's razor again. Simplest explanation is that Tesla just don't have a fire problem.

Then why don't you post it? If such statistic is being recorded, I don't know where to find it, and I don't have time to research it.

Because the burden is on you, not me. If you make statements that people find dubious, you have to back then up with hard data. Convince me, because I'm not going to do your job. If EV'S are a public safety problem, prove it
