it looks great and the giant batteries for long range are great but after watching the review i'm a bit concerned of the insane complexity of the midgate and tailgate. and of course it ain't cheap. he did mention big price drops for '26 so those '25 buyers must not be too happy.

they each have several models now.
The midgate was done 25 years ago by Chevy. Shouldn't be a problem. The tailgate is just hinges making it have multi functions. Don't really see what complexity is there. Only drawback is how expensive it might be to replace the tailgate.
It's absolutely nice to have it! Mine has let me do long Bay Area to San Diego trips without any concern about charger availability. I'm sure they would have probably been fine if you had to rely on other networks, but you never know.
