General EV Conversation
So with the utmost respect, my (actual) friend, that might just rank as one of the most ridiculously tragic articles I've read on here.
It can broadly be summarized as Teslas are better built than they used to be, are quite quick, but mostly that his Model 3 has cooled seats.
Is this really what passes for automotive journalism these days...????!!

I take anything positive from them about EV's with utmost Last edited by AMIRZA786; Aug 20, 2025 at 03:22 PM.
Unless they don't want or can't have an EV for some reason, nobody would drive an Accord and a Model 3 and buy the Accord.
I totally agree with this, but if I'm a buyer that has heard negative things about EV's in general and Tesla in particular, that buyer would pick the Accord. I'm in total agreement with the last part, as I've referred a few people who were in the market for something like a Prius or Camry, test drove the Tesla, and that sealed the deal. Misinformation regarding EV's is rampant, even here in sunny California. Just had a discussion with a co-worker last week who only commutes less than 15 miles a day, and is convinced that an EV would get him stranded
I just find it such a mind-bogglingly and inexplicably weird and random topic for an article.
"Random man chooses Tesla Model 3 over Honda Accord" isn't exactly headline news. Certainly no more so than the converse when some equally random buyer might have chosen to buy an Accord instead of a Model 3 for some equally random reason.

The new Accord hybrid with a measly 200hp?? Accord hybrid and new Camry (hybrid only) would be a better comparison. The Accord has good amount of interior space for sure (previous gen did). More than I had in my LS 460.
You know the EV 👮♀️ police is going to blow a fuse discussing a gas car in the EV forum in 3…2…1
