It was a noble experiment, hopefully Tesla takes what it learned (and the tech) and uses it to build better vehicles

Granted it isn't fully operational yet due to software delays, but the Volvo EX90 has built in lidar, and the hardware integration is reasonably subtle.

Mercedes drive pilot also has built in Lidar. Im not that familiar with Lidar, but this one is hidden behind the grill so not sure if it spins or not.

Genesis will not be bringing the refreshed longer wheelbase G80 EV here. Thats a real bummer, this is a car I would have considered. So no more EV G80 for the US

No comparison there lol. To be fair though the person said his life goal was to own a Tesla, so clearly there was no chance he was going to choose a Honda Accord over one.
