We had dinner in the mall where the Lucid center is tonight, and we walked around the corner and they have several Gravitys. My wife LOVED it. The showroom was closed but one of the salespeople drove by in his demo Gravity and we got to sit in it and check it out. Seriously cool vehicle. We're going to go down there one day next week and drive one.

Way better looking in person. A couple pictures:
If you squint it kind of looks like a Mercedes R class. I think it looks nice. Love that color!
Time to put the Pacifica for sale. The wife wants her upgrade.
Edit: R class

It still looks too much like a minivan to me but the car itself is a great car with excellent interior and features. Same thing with the Lucid Air, great car all around but I just didn’t like the way it looked. Both don’t look bad, I just like the S and R1T looks better personally but from an interior/luxury standpoint, I think Lucid is better than both.
Good thing is your wife likes minivans so this looks no different.
It looks less like a minivan in person, in person it really looks like a beefy wagon. Its really low, considerably lower than the Pacifica. Those pictures are also in the lowest suspension mode, 5 inch clearance which is the same as a sedan or minivan. It can be driven like that, or at 7 inches or at 9 inches.
We have about another year on the Pacifica. Leases on these aren't very good compared to Rivians, they'll get better. About $110k which is optioned how I would want its about $1,700 a month which isn't good, a dual motor R1S is about $1,200. MB GLS450 at about $100k is $1,100 or so. She also needs to drive this, the Rivian and a few other things, I want her to drive a PHEV Lexus TX, I want to at least look at an E Class Wagon too. They are too small, but I really love them. She likes the idea of a wagon too. Also no hybrid which she wants. She really only wants to consider PHEVs or EVs.

You’re right, the lease deals suck for the Gravity. When I liked at the Air an optioned up model at $130k with 15k miles a year was around the same lease payment as my Plaid at $90k, a little less than $1500 a month with only taxes/tags down.
i doubt you’ll see better lease deals for at least a year or more.
as nice as the gravity is, i don’t think it’s going to be available or sell in big numbers.
Im not sure if its true, but I was reading an article that was describing the lucid earnings call last week and the execs said they are worried for the end of the 7,500 credit, are projecting low 4th quarter sales (but high 3rd quarter), and they are expecting to subsidize some or all of the credit going forward in order to survive....
I would also give it a year, but im sure we will see gravity leases until $900 a month, though maybe not as specced for Steve.
as nice as it is for us enthusiasts, the problem with the gravity is they tried to put ‘everything’ into it. that’s very nice, but it ain’t cheap. name a feature it doesn’t offer? lol
Lucid needs to sell the Gravity, they will incentivize the leases just like they have with the Air. We're a year out, so we have time. Lower trims will come too.

I'm looking forward to your review and impressions if you drive it.
