Yeah I wouldn’t have accepted that setup, personally. Removing the downspout is not hard, and he would have just had to pull it out from the wall 1.5 inches or so and it would have gone over the top of the conduit and been neater looking.
I see contractors who do **** like that all the time. Drives me nuts.
oh and that old gas chainsaw is outa here, replaced by the one with the green blade you can just see... MONSTER electric chainsaw, works great.
Man, you have become Mr. Green . I would have liked to put the batteries in the garage, but ours is detached and to far away from the meter and inverter. These were the only two places the permit would allow
a tesla 13.6kWh battery that can get charged from grid or solar, and then power some or all of the house when needed.
my system will use another brand (ex tesla engineers) called franklinwh. slightly bigger capacity (15kwh), but a lot of smarts on their 'controller'. i'm getting 3 of those.

^^ Basically this ^^ It will kick in during peak times when our electricity provider charges nearly .70 cents a kWh and pays pennies for solar power sent back to the grid. Instead of power I've generated going back to the grid, it will be stored in the batteries for later use. Also, it can power my house in case of a power outage. At night it will power my house and will be able to charge one of my cars
