After almost three years and 50,000 miles between my two Tesla's, there is no other car that I want or need. Keeping in mind that I've owned and driven so many different cars over 40 years, IMO, Tesla makes the best overall appliance vehicle from not only driving dynamics and performance, but efficiency and a technology perspective. The rest are dinosaurs to me. And the improvements that they constantly make just keep their cars getting better and better. There is no debating this for me, my experiences guided me to this conclusion, which of course is ultimately my opinion.
That's not to say there are no other good cars out there, those cars are just not for me. Although I do admit, I wouldn't mind adding something like an M2 or M3 Comp, but that would be just a weekend car to fulfill the enthusiast check box in me. My main commute and family vehicles will probably always be Tesla's until the dinosaurs come home
One of my agents just replaced his 2012 ES350 with a new Model Y, its the new silver color and they gave him the color for free to move it. It is really nice, I gotta say the refresh improvements to the Model Y are really excellent. He LOVES it. Been getting by with just charging at the office and at Superchargers but he's calling my electrician to do his Level 2 at his house.

Wow, that's quite the change. An ES owner going to a Model Y must of took some really good incentives. My brother in law who owned two ES Models over 20 years was fanatical about both of them

He was never a huge fan, he had Mercedes before the ES and the ES always kind of felt crappy/cheap to him. He drove it for a long time though, he much prefers the Model Y.

nice. so was he not concerned about leaving toyota/lexus 'legendary' reliability?
Got the OTA that includes Google Maps yesterday. Initial impressions are good. Satellite view is much better, software seems snappy, and pulling up POIs is faster. Only negative is that the box with the next direction in the route seems too big, but that's a personal opinion

Might be a homebody the rest of the day, but I'll take one the next time I'm out and about.
In other news - I saw my first Ioniq 9 yesterday. It looked bigger than I thought it would be, but was in a nice green color. I will say I still prefer the EV9's looks though
Mercedes seems to be sweating buckets with the upcoming ev credit sunset. $11500 on ev and phevs (made in america).
