You show little interest or even disdain for so many aspects of EVs, one can't help but wonder what about this thread interests you. Did you ever stop to wonder why so many people you know bought electric vehicles?
That is absolutely absurd lol. I love EVs, own one PHEV now which I love and likely both of my next car purchases will be full EV or at least one will and the other will be PHEV. Just because I don't like one pedal driving doesn't mean I don't like EVs. All the EVs I would buy have the ability to turn if on and off.
What have I said I "disdain" about EVs?

I have a quote from solar panel provider for a Tesla Wall lease, but I went over the numbers, and it just doesn't make financial sense. I would need two Tesla walls to support charging our three EV'S plus other power needs, and at $235 a month and an annual increase of 2.99 percent, it's more expensive than my True-up with PG&E. Sure, I would love to not give or take a single kWh to those thieves, but it has to still make sense financially. So instead I'm going to invest about $1000 in a generator, (probably natural gas) so I can be fully prepared for the oncoming zombie apocalypse
anyone not liking 1 pedal driving just hasn’t done it enough. after a while you realize there’s no point in pressing the brake pedal 90% of the time.

but of course you can modulate the gas pedal… it’s not all or nothing.
the tesla implementation of 1 pedal driving is MUCH better than on my hyundai. still not sure why on hyundai you can’t leave 1 pedal engaged all the time… it turns off every time you turn off the car.
Will a Tesla or any EV with 1 pedal driving engaged stop if you let off the gas? In a Tesla with 1pd engaged you’re sitting at a red light, will the car move without your foot being on the brake?

Sounds like he loves them!!
And for the record, I got my money on @AJT123 buying an EV before @SW17LS will once he realize all his beloved V8s are actually slow 🤣😂

Mine will come to a complete stop if I let off the "gas" and it will hold the brake until I put my foot on the "gas" again. Unless there is an emergency, I could and do make entire trips without ever touching the brake pedal.

In our 2023 Model Y we have 3 settings: Creep, Roll and Hold. They removed those options on vehicles produced after sometime in early 2024. Now they only have Hold.
