Especially if it's an attached garage. I have a detached, I plan to tear it down and build a bigger one at some point. My garage is supposed to be a two car garage, but the only two cars it would fit would maybe be two Yaris
I just want to say that I have highly optimistic hopes that 2025 and on is going to be great for EV'S. With all the uncertainty and turmoil, and even the fact that EV'S are being subsidized in many cases by their ICE counterparts, in California ownership continues to be strong, and growing stronger. I do anticipate dips and disappointments down the road, but the ball is rolling, and it can't be stopped. It's a better technology than current gasoline powered cars, it's more efficient, delivers more power, needs very little maintenance, and even when the most skeptical of skeptics drive one, they are amazed.
What's holding adoption back? Misinformation from various interest groups, lack of infrastructure in many parts of the country, and good ol fashioned stubbornness, IMO.
I think another thing that holds back adoption is making EVs that look weird. I don't want a car that looks like a spaceship or like it was designed for ROBLOX or Minecraft. Give me a beautiful car that looks like a car and yet is an EV with 350 miles of range and I am a buyer.
Great example of this? The Escalade IQ. I actively prefer that over the ICE Escalade. BMW i7, I would never choose the ICE version over the EV. Not choosing an EQS over an S Class, but make an S Class thats an EV? Buyer.
Just took my R1S in for a service bulletin today. Basically, they updated a fastener during production, but didn't update the torque spec so the drive could get noisy. Took about 40 minutes and they got a Lyft to take me to the local Starbucks because the Service Center I went to isn't supposed to be client facing.
It did ride quieter after I got back in so no complaints here

this fastener would be like a trim related piece of the interior or exterior?
I don't like posting a pdf to the forums, but if you do a search for RCA-18-24-001-1: Tighten Hub to Knuckle Fasteners you should be able to find the bulletin with the fix described.
Basically replacing a half shaft bolt and tightening up other things
LOVED the Rivian! I drove a pretty loaded Tri Motor. Firm riding, but very refined and solid, very premium feeling. Gobs of power. Technology seems great, going to take my wife to drive it. It probably has 80% of the cargo capacity of the Pacifica with the third row up when you factor in the frunk. Has a deep well under the floor in the back which helps. Love all the details in the interior.
