Its workable, say for those who drive below the yearly average, but not ideal. For average mileage drivers, level 2 is a must or consider ICE/HEVs.
With today's battery sizes, it's really not that workable unless you do what one of my coworkers does, he goes to the back of the building and plugs in for 8 hours. But he only burns about 4 kWh coming to work. It barely worked for us when we had a Ioniq EV with a 38 kWh battery
A great majority of EV owners really plug in and charge via the slowest 120V method?

120v outlet to charge an ev is a bad situation.
120v charge is better than no charge. Let’s say you don’t want to stop in middle of night and sit at a charger so you continue on to your vacation destination for the night. Throw it on the 110, get up the next morning and then finish charging at a fast charger.

When you asked if it were an EV or 5.7, I was thinking he didn’t look at the pics. 🤣

I know my EV'S 🤣 I was just giving my opinion, I've rented several chargers and Challengers and I'm not crazy about their looks. Muscle cars aren't my thing
If you happen to broadly fit into the driving pattern of the average American, who supposedly drives under 40 miles per day on average, you could get by on Level 1 charging if need be. Doesn't work for anything outside that, but if the majority of your driving is limited commute and short trips you could make it work with an efficient EV.

It works for my coworker. He helped me install my new Tesla charger and I gave him my EA Home charger which has hasn't installed yet, so between home and work, Level 1 seems to be working for him. It wouldn't work for us as we charge 3 EVs at any given time, and my wife alone burns through 100 kWh per week 😬

I drove well over 100 miles today. Maybe close to 150 if not more. I happen to look and saw I traveled 75 miles at one point today that’s not including the other car I drove earlier today.

Why do you drive such long stretches on weekdays? Is it because you live in a rural area and everything is far from you? I do about 12 miles a day for my commute, and give or take 30 to 40 miles on the weekend
