On another note, saw the Honda Prologue this morning on my way to work, a pretty nice looking EV

I think the Prologue looks good but the H o n d a logo looks terrible.

All caps would have looked much better.

still cant get used to the Honda being spelt out like that. It looks awful. Maybe if it was in all caps it would be better.

I'm guessing they wrote it like that to distinguish it from it's gasoline counterparts. Definitely should have done it in capital letters, it looks like they bought the name plate from Ebay

You just trade it in. I traded my leased LS460L in on the S560, and my leased Jeep Grand Cherokee in on the Kia Sedona. Dealers will find a way if they want to make the deal work.

Hard to trade in an EV lease though because the resale values are so poor. But if you have $2,500 in mileage overage just tell the dealer they’ve got to absorb it in some way that doesn’t roll it into the new vehicle.

Its not magic, its a business transaction. If they want to do the deal the numbers have to work for me. Mysteriously the deal always comes together

Exactly, and the only thing to focus on is net cost. It doesn't matter at all how the dealer makes the numbers work as long as they do. I've had deals where the dealer has inflated one number that works for to make another number important to them be where it is, the only thing that matters to me is the net cost of the deal. If that's where I need it to be I don't care how the dealer got there.

Yep, exactly. As long as I wind up where I want to be how they arrive there doesn't matter to me.

Did HMF start allowing 3p buyouts again? I though it was leasee was able to buyout (bad idea for the most part) or Hyundai dealers.

Side note reading the T&C on the lease contract does wonders for seasoned customers.

I see so many of those Honda Prologues. Hard to believe they are just a rebadged Chevy or something rather. It is a very wide looking vehicle in real life

Lots of reviews out right now about the Escalade IQ, I LOVE it. Much more appealing than the ICE Escalade IMO. It’s so huge though it wouldn’t fit in my garage.

Park the Escalade outside and your winter beater in the garage 🙃
