Just took my R1S in for a service bulletin today. Basically, they updated a fastener during production, but didn't update the torque spec so the drive could get noisy. Took about 40 minutes and they got a Lyft to take me to the local Starbucks because the Service Center I went to isn't supposed to be client facing.
It did ride quieter after I got back in so no complaints here
this fastener would be like a trim related piece of the interior or exterior?
I don't like posting a pdf to the forums, but if you do a search for RCA-18-24-001-1: Tighten Hub to Knuckle Fasteners you should be able to find the bulletin with the fix described.
Basically replacing a half shaft bolt and tightening up other things
LOVED the Rivian! I drove a pretty loaded Tri Motor. Firm riding, but very refined and solid, very premium feeling. Gobs of power. Technology seems great, going to take my wife to drive it. It probably has 80% of the cargo capacity of the Pacifica with the third row up when you factor in the frunk. Has a deep well under the floor in the back which helps. Love all the details in the interior.

Yes join us What suspension setting did you have it in? If I'm on long straights, I'll keep it in soft, but it's pretty bad when you have to maneuver. I end up keeping it in standard height & firmness
That interior looks great. Looks like it would be a pretty tight fit in your garage.
Its actually 4 inches shorter than the Pacifica, and 2 inches taller In kneel height and 3 inches taller in regular ride height. Would fit no problem. I have 78 inches of clearance, Pacifica is 69.9, Rivian kneel height it 72.1
Now, its way more money that I want to spend for that family vehicle lol, but its similar in cost I suppose to a GLS.

Soft, you're right it floats around pretty good in soft, I would probably go to standard in any kind of maneuvering.
R1T is built on a longer platform. R1S cuts off about 16 inches. That was partially why the initial R1S' drove so poorly. Tuning was optimized for the T
They've done a couple to improve the dynamics of the air suspension and its made a big difference. When I first got it, it would dolphin tail pretty often on the freeways if there was a bump in the road. Very disconcerting to say the least. The first big handling update smoothed everything out but the ride was still harsh. The latest updates added soft and let the suspension do more work. People used to ride in off-road rally mode in the past to make it smooth because it would allow for maximum suspension movement.
I would say it went from 4runner levels of ride quality to Defender levels of ride quality. It'll never hit full Range Rover ride quality, but Defender is pretty good considering the offroad chops

Yeah, that sounds about right. The ride reminded me a lot of something like a Lexus LX
