I have to say, I'm seeing a ton of Porsche Taycan's on the road lately. Saw three this morning on my way to work

 

If you buy any piece of property here in SV (even in a s h i t t y neighborhood), it's a better investment than any car purchase, the exception being a neighbor that sells you a low mileage Porsche Boxer his mom bought him for $2500 so he can get high, which is how my coworker got his

 

Cliff notes - ID.Buzz charging was horribly slow. Range suffers significantly in the cold. Non-Tesla charger are still a crapshoot

They did get to a station that gave the Buzz 157kWh at a 37% state of charge, but my poor charging Rivian will do ~200 at that SoC

 

Reviews coming in for the new Dodge Charger Daytona(that's the EV version).

Seems to be that it functions fine, but it's very heavy(almost 6k lbs), not as fast as it should be, and Dodge forgot to make it fun. Seems rushed to production. Priced pretty high for what you get as well.

 

That sucks especially the weight. Why didn't they put the effort into making an affordable SUV EV?

 

They're shoving it on us, too... the press. No more V8 muscle car sucks.

This is silly. Won't sell. It's not a knack against EVs but this is a dumb application.

 

​​​​​​ Definitely not to the traditional crowd. If it wasn't so expensive, it might appeal to the EV crowd (not me), but who is going to pay over $60k for a fake? I think they were better off not making it, but if you think about it, nobody thought the Cyber Truck would sell, but here we are
