Side note I wonder what the cost differential shipping (easy answer a lot) for used vehicles?
I assume open deck roro is cheaper, below deck idk if thats a thing for non commercial accounts, enclosed container is next costly, followed by straight up air fare typically reserved for elite hypercars in the cargo hold of a widebody.

is RORO like “stow away”?? The cheapest option is to find a way a boat and sail to Hong Kong
This is not the 1980s. Today's 3-cylinders get the job done perfectly well for most normal day-to-day driving. That's why they are being used in an increasing number of vehicles now. Even the extremely popular Bronco Sport uses one.

Nvh is still quiet appalling, especially because the price point these engines are going for, cost is king.
3 cylinder engines are so god-awful that it seems like you can feel the crank turning over and/or the pistons, literally.
My brother in law had a Geo Metro 1L 3 banger, and let me tell you something, it was one of the most God awful experiences I've ever had. At 60 mph it was pushing like 4000 rpm and was like driving a car with unbalanced tires at 90

LOL I know my mom had a rental one (I have NO idea why) of those back in the 90s and it would hardly even make it up steep hills. I remember her telling me she filled it up for $8.25.
A few years ago we rode in an Uber 3 cylinder, god awful. I literally would not drive that car.
