You are obsessed with Tesla half your posts on this forum are about the company and Elon Musk.

BTW, Rivian and Tesla do NOT sell private user data that's why J.D. Power can't use the same metrics that they apply to other brands.

Not obsessed with Tesla at all, but seeing that this is the EV forum and Tesla is a huge player in that market that's pretty common I would imagine.

Just remember, all of this has come from the fact that you guys can't handle the fact that I prefer a physical shifter and don't like it in the screen. Just let me have my opinion and stop hassling me about it lol.

Right, and thats why JD Power excluded that data. Makes sense.

Actually you are the one who can't handle a shifter in the screen, posting suspect data that's been called out. I'm totally fine with whatever shifter you want. And this victim you try to play, LOL I don't what to say

Can we talk about something else now? We get it "you guys" is a bad group of people that can't handle any criticisms and we have zero idea what the best interfaces are.

Absolutely. I don't want to ever see another shifter again in my life

AI Overview

To get swipe typing (QuickPath) on your iPad, pinch the full-size keyboard inward to make it a smaller, floating keyboard, then slide your finger from letter to letter to type words; this feature isn't on the large keyboard, but you can enable it in Settings > General > Keyboard > "Slide on Floating Keyboard to Type," though the pinch gesture is often enough, Apple Support https://support.apple.com/en-lb/111789,.

let it go? and no one's trying to change your mind - that's clearly impossible so how about you stop lecturing on how shifting on screen is terrible, shouldn't be allowed because it's not a physical shifter as god intended
i'll use your royal 'we' here for tesla enshutiasts... "WE'VE HEARD YOU AND WE DON'T AGREE." you can cite this study or that (including bogus conclusions), but you're not changing minds.

to put it clearly, i wouldn't trade my cheap *** model y for your s-class if you offered an even up trade.

we can each like what we like. this is the ev forum. why don't you (and perhaps striker) go back to pontificating on the virtues of physical shifters and other appendages, fancy leather, 8+ cylinder engines, etc., in the ice (cat shat) forum.

My friend had the screen replaced in his ‘22 model 3LR due to flickering. Would’ve sucked if his gear shift controls were in the screen. 🫣

They tried rebooting process several times and also thought it was due to the screen protector.

A lot of manufacturers are putting more and more options/buttons in the screen. I would hate for my screen to malfunction while trying to perform a simple task.

Well here's the thing. The gears are also placed just under the rearview mirror, just in case the screen goes out. Next 🥱

Too loud? 🙉 @Toys4RJill I wouldn’t take a S class either but I’m sure it’s a great car

And you will be right along with striker and sw17ls and rest of us to give your $0.02 why you don’t like them.

See you on the other side in 3,2,1..😂👋🙋‍♂️
