I have a friend on this forum who keeps telling me I need to move out of California (you know who you are ). Well unlike you my friend, I'm not buried in 10 feet of snow and my pallotas ain't frozen up in the winter. So no, I ain't moving 😅

Cali is becoming a Mad Max hellscape but that weather. 🤡
Winter is beautiful and rewarding I'll be hitting the slopes soon nothing like it.

If that were actually true, I would have sold everything and left years ago. When I say mainstream media is full of it, I include faux news which really loves to paint Cali as a criminal hellscape. When they come to take my guns, than it will be time to leave

Shifting gears who does it better.
I've always loved the Sienna, and looks has never, is still not the problem. It's the new drivetrain. You just can't put a 2.4L engine and expect people who come from the 3.5L to even remotely enjoy driving it

Lucid Gravity is supposed to be an SUV.
Don't get me started on Toyota going all in on 4-cylinder engines. I'm currently trying to convince a family member not to buy a new Highlander for this very reason. They need a larger SUV and honestly there is no EV version of this on the market, not one that is designed for utility above most other things.

I had to actually take a double take on the Lucid. Looks pretty much like a minivan.
Unfortunately Highlander is going to be their best option for SUV space. Or they can find a 2021 or 2022 that still had the 3.5L. I would go with used
ID buzz still too new to get the good deals, but EV9s have pretty aggressive lease deals. Wind AWDs in my area going for $439 a month for 36 months or $369 for 24 months. But $4.8K due at signing + only 10K miles per year

The miles are the biggest problem for us. My wife mostly uses the Ioniq 5 for work and grocery shopping, and is already hitting 18k with Max 20k, and is not due to be turned in until July. Our Y which is our family car is already at 29,440 in two years. Polestar I had to dish out $1600 in overage
