Got some VLeds LED turns. The LED's I got from Japan just weren't bright enough.
@JT2MA71 Wow, the low-impedance lighting looks great and gets noticed (in a good/safety kind of way). What drove the decision to use different bulbs front/rear...why not use the 1400-lumen V6 Extremes on the front also? With an aftermarket diode, are the hyperflash resistors still necessary?

The fronts are recessed way up in the headlight assembly, that there has to be this long handle/extension on the bulb socket. I don’t think I’d be able to get the extreme ones up in there. I replaced them from under the car. The relay that I got with the kit from Japan takes care of the hyperflash so resistors were not needed, plus it has 3 flash smart tap feature.
@JT2MA71 Nice. Do you mind sharing the type of plastic clamp? I can find nylon cable clamps like those at this link, but these look more substantial and robust.
What are you hoping to achieve with the 3.13 ratio?
A little bit better and more aggressive acceleration, that's what I'm hoping for. And given that the new RCF went from 2.9x to 3.1x, I think it would be a safe experiment. If I don't like it, the current diff can be swapped back in easily.
I’ve wanted to build a gs350 diff with a giken and install it for fun. It wouldn’t necessarily make the car faster, but way more torquey around town driving. Ultimately, I never messed with it based on seeing that it didn’t actually make anyone faster at the track, and is expensive for not accomplishing any performance gains. The 3.13 may be more beneficial. Otherwise, Lexus wouldn’t have bothered.
