Hey man. Just in case, sand off any surfaces where bolts make contact on your calipers. I had my calipers powdercoated and the surface where the brake line mates to the caliper was painted over. I track the car and I suppose the heat softened up that paint and my brake line loosened enough to disable my braking function. Luckily, I was just parking at the time. Great color choice!

Also I found that the F sport chassis brace does stiffen the car up. My room flexed more going onto grades/driveways and the car would be more prone to 3-wheeling. Highway cruising on banked roads felt more "planted" at the higher speeds.

I have the front H brace that connects the front lower control arm mounts together. GT-Spec made a brace and Megan seems to make that same exact brace...I like it! I made the modification with a bunch of other ones at the time so I'm not sure of the bar's individual impact. RR-Racing's car also has that front chassis bar.

Weld a cage in it. Better than all the available braces you can buy or build yourself. Nothing stiffens a chassis like a rollcage.

I taped all sealing and mating surfaces before painting Thanks!

I plan to get the front braces next.

The pictures show paint on the captive nuts. Did you remove this? I wouldn't run the calipers shown in your photos without removing the paint on the mount surfaces.

Which mount surfaces have paint? I had bolts screwed into the threads, so no paint in the threads either. I appreciate all the comments though.

Got my hub shims from Mike! Just now waiting for the rotors and this upgrade is complete! These shims are 1.8mm thick so the factory bolts ended up short by about 1.5 threads. I ordered some rear lower front link bolts and they are the perfect length.

Factory hub bolts:

Are the shims to accomodate the RC F/GS F calipers?

Yes, to center the ISF rotor in the caliper. Could have shaved the caliper ears to do the same thing but I lost my only trusted local machinist.

I don’t know how I missed that those are all separate pieces. How was the install?

Install is just time consuming. And runners have to go in certain order. Install one runner and then put the collector on to make sure it lines up with the support bracket that’s bolted on the transmission. Torque that runner and remove the collector, then do the same with the next runner.
