I can tell you mine acted a bit odd until I had everything plugged in. No idea if that will resolve your issues but fingers crossed it will. As someone else stated it's just holding the menu button down to switch between the two. It's not instant so it's a long press/hold.

Finally, I have a working head unit, backup camera, audio and apple carplay.

One last thing, Is the touchpad mouse enabled on the Android OS? I see it but it's not moving. I went to settings that Jen posted but didn't see any options about touchpad mouse.

Update: I was missing it, and it fixed the issue!! Thanks man!! For those with the spazzy mouse issue go to the android settings and select "system," then "input," scroll to the bottom and click "advanced," and then "pointer speed." For me, 1/3 speed or less gets rid of the jumping.
