Could you please provide details on what modifications you made for the hood to fit? Thanks!

You need to make the notch deeper.

Bottom hood before making the notch bigger.

Bottom hood after making the notch bigger.

Thanks for the info! I just snagged a used hood on eBay. Hopefully, the process isn't too difficult.

Lexion is now sending out units that are "all in one" so all this great discussion and their only Youtube video showing an install are outdated. They are continuing their practice of not a single paper in the box. They finally responded to my email almost 1 week later saying to "watch the video"—yeah I've watched it several times. It might have been more useful with the old model but now its outdated and I am stuck with a $800 part sitting in a box since I had no desire to tear apart my car and try to figure out what goes where all day long.

Plus I am missing a wire that is shown on the product website. What is the wire for? Do I need it? No idea since they have zero instructions or anything useful. It's like they expect us to have intimate knowledge of our car's wiring.

Unless I get very clear, detailed instructions from Lexion on how to install their new unit I am out and want to just return this nightmare of a product. So far so bad.

The round notch had to be enlarged a little to make it work.

I’m assuming this red instrument cluster surround fits all RC’s with LFA gauge? Do you have the part number for this?

I cannot confirm whether it would fit other models, but Id assume any model that shares the same dashboard. Part number is: 5540324080C7

thank you, I’m noticing the listing for all of them with that part number says “black/red/red” which is odd. I would like a red leather one for my 2019 RC
