Finally got tired of the uselessness of the stock navigation/entertainment system and put an order early last week. Been in communication with them and now got an email saying it's scheduled to arrive 8/23 via DHL.

Will post some pics and experience when the unit arrives. Looking forward to the wireless apple car play.

 

I did the same and mine is scheduled to arrive today the 23rd as well. Fingers crossed it will and everything will go smoothly from install to working.

Just finished installing and backup camera is not working. I'll fiddle with advanced settings and hopefully it's only a setting that needs to be enabled.

Question: When I go to OEM system, I cannot get back to Android screen no matter what button I press or hold. Holding the MENU button from Android system makes it go back to Lexus OEM screen. I tried touching the screen and it's also not working.

The only way I can see the Android screen again is to remove the battery for 15 minutes.

 

Hope you get the help you need from them. My unit was defective and they stopped responding. I had to file a PayPal despite over it.

 

I am sympathetic to life happening. Health is a top priority so he needs to make sure he is taking care of himself, no doubt about it. But I am a small business owner, and if I was taking peoples money for a product or service, and surgery was looming, I would at the very least communicate that on the website or via the forums. You don’t take peoples money then disappear, especially when people are having issues.

I have seen this surgery excuse uttered from multiple people over the last month. I’m not sure I’m buying it. His random spotty customer support has been an unfortunate hallmark of the company since his first post on the forums. This is not cool when you are selling a high dollar item like this…

 

I have been sending them messages in WhatsApp which they always respond (before making a purchase), but after receiving the unit, they went silent on me. I think I got the wrong harness. The one that is labeled (touch pad only) did not fit and I left it unplugged. I noticed the trackpad is not working on the android system, but it works on OEM side.

And also, how difficult is pairing on this device? It seems the bluetooth connection is flaky.

 

You did try to connect touchpad plug to back of the touchpad armrest right? Don’t make the same mistake I made by connecting joystick connector to back of radio. If you left it unplugged of course you cannot go to Android side. My oem backup camera didn’t work in the beginning but you have to change setting in advance setting. I think I selected LVDS or something like that.

 

Communication is great until you pay them. Then It’s radio silence. My harness is messed up and I can’t access the Lexus OS at all. My joystick doesn’t work to access it. He said he was going to send a harness almost 3 weeks ago, hasn’t responded to multiple messages even though I see he logs into WhatsApp.

 

Just double checking, you're not trying to use the pairing with an android phone are you? Because despite the website saying it's wireless AA he confirmed that AA is wired only. Which is why I'm filing a chargeback with my CC since I bought it for wireless use.

 

Yep I had to do the same. Go into advanced settings and enter 8868123. Then change backup camera to LVDS.

 

How do you see WhatsApp logs on iPhone?

 

Hope you have better luck than I did. I filed a dispute with PayPal and they denied my claim since the item doesn’t function significantly different than the original description. I appealed their decision after sending the WhatsApp messages showing how they said they were going to replace my harness but never did. Waiting to hear back again.

Lexion talked a big big game and when nothing is wrong, it works ok but quite frankly they over promised and under delivered.
