I've heard this several times where the user didn't feel a difference until they removed it. I have dyno proven results that it works.
The BMS with a DP works very well!
Thanks for all your input. With your help I've gotten the PPE downpipe (no more CEL for now...I hope) and the BMS Stage 1 tune. Going to install tune Saturday. Also got an Injen Short Ram Intake. I think up next will be a TMD when available, charge pipe and probably the apex'i or Invidia midpipe. I haven't found enough sound clips of the midpipes but I'm leaning Invidia for a more subtle growl.

Hello Everyone,
Due to health complications I've had to put R&D on projects on hold. For now i am trying to get better and will be continuing my work soon. Thank you all for your patience on this matter.
it installs incredibly fast. 1-2 min max. the plugs are right on top can't miss them!
I ordered my BMS Stage 1 tuner today; I can't wait. I also ordered the HPS Silicon intake tube and the F Sport filter. I hope I can feel a difference with all this installed (I don't expect anything crazy, just something decent after $600 lol).

It's the best bang for your buck. You'll enjoy the extra power that the BMS adds.
HPS intake tube worth it? Anyone care to share there experiences with it. I have f sport filter and bms stage 1.
i don’t suggest, it mess up with MAF calculation and for stage one a drop in filter is much more than enough, and if u wanna be more fancy go for BMS intake

Doesn't the MAP sensor also send a reading to the ECU on forced induction cars? I've had my HPS for some time and I never had any issues thus far. I've never tested it on the dyno, but HPS did their testing and saw some minor gains throughout the powerband.

am talking about the MAF (Mass Air Flow) not MAP, Its responsible for sending the air readings to the ECU, And based on those readings the ECU calibrates the map, which includes throttle that the nation and fe and based on those readings the ECU calibrates the map, which includes l fuel and timing, and in new cars the MAF reading is sent to the TCU to control the amount of pressure applied when shifting.
in small setups like ours its no biggy since we are playing way under the safety line, but once u speak turbo swap and bigger setup forget these useless pipes since its nothing but vitual appeal and possibly slight power loss am sorry to say, but again in our case power loss might be neglectable
And to further clarify my point MAF sensor is located just after the intake, so when you change the pipe which comes after wards you need to do something called MAF scaling which is a nightmare for most inexperienced tuners
Got it. I know what the MAF is, I was just under the impression that the real reading is done by the MAP sensor on forced induction cars. Therefore having the HPS tube doesnt affect it as much.

nope that theory is not correct, in forced induction cars the MAP sensor helps to compancate the readings and assist the ECU but its not the same as having the correct sacling
Cool.
I guess due to the reduced heat soak and design it gave some decent gains. The turbo inlet pipe is the limiting factor for more air being pushed into the turbo.
Hmmm that’s interesting but if that was the case wouldn’t all the aftermarket intakes require adjustment? If everyone is running aftermarket intakes and not having issues then why not for a little cooler air, looks ,and sound (in the case of full aftermarket short ram exhausts). Or is your point that none of these are actually helping with getting gains?
