Cool.
I guess due to the reduced heat soak and design it gave some decent gains. The turbo inlet pipe is the limiting factor for more air being pushed into the turbo.
Hmmm that’s interesting but if that was the case wouldn’t all the aftermarket intakes require adjustment? If everyone is running aftermarket intakes and not having issues then why not for a little cooler air, looks ,and sound (in the case of full aftermarket short ram exhausts). Or is your point that none of these are actually helping with getting gains?
it installs incredibly fast. 1-2 min max. the plugs are right on top can't miss them!
Sure was quick. How do you have yours mounted? I have it zip tied to some cables by the air filter for now. I'll figure out a more permanent solution later.

I can’t imagine a company like HPS lying so I think it will be worth it if it’s adding even just 6ish HP and Torque (mainly want it to match the USB color lol) and it looks good too.

I mounted mine between the battery and fender.

Did you all use zip ties to secure it? I need to start planning for my Monday install haha.
No zip ties on mine. The install literally takes less than 10 minutes. Did you get the waterproof case with your stage 1? Last one I ordered came with the small case.
This was the JB4 setup that I had with the bluetooth.

I haven’t received mine yet it gets here Monday. I meant planning as in planning where to put it and how to secure it in the engine bay.

It does give some minor gains if you don't tune and leave the ECU to learn, however when you tune scaling is a must with a none stock pipe setup, if you ask Tony he will tell you the same, they have the scaling setup for the stock pipe an the TTI intake since they have designed it and did the scaling for it

Again same point if you have a complete stock car throwing in intake or exhaust gives you some gains in the long run since the ECU does the learning and adjust the fuel, timing and ignition

No body is lying it works but no way 6hp, you get about 10hp with ever 1psi of boost so i cannot imagine that a pipe will add 6hp , and again they are speaking of a stock car scenario
At the end of the day all these companies wanna make money none of them will get into details of what would effect your power

Velcro to the fuse box. No zip ties. allows to pull it quickly if needed.
As far as the HPS tube, I don't see that throwing off any readings. The MAF is metering whatever air that is passing the filter. The same exact thing as any aftermarket intake for any car, they all work. Lexus does the same thing with their F Sport intake. Modified/larger inlet tube.
Now you have a loose clamp AFTER the maf and let it unmetered air, then you'll have problems!
