Isn’t 18psi normal on a modded and tuned engine?
I’m not to educated in forced induction so my bad for the noob questions lol

Seems that around 250whp is what the engine can do with the stock turbo but we still have room for torque, lets see what the dyno tune does.

Nuke did get 262whp 290wtq with TTI stage 2+, so TRD needs to step their game up! ..lol j/k

These are not official numbers since i do see the "greater than or equal to" symbol before the figures.

The difference between spec A and B. Spec A most likely peaks 23 psi and holds 18 psi whileSpec B peaks 24 psi holds 21-20 psi. Spec B peaks slightly higher 1+ psi, spec B holds more boost than spec A producing more hp.

B spec has a prototype turbo Do you think they just upgraded the intervals or a bigger turbo?

SPEC B has a prototype turbo charger as well. I would love to get the full specs on these setups, hopefully soon we will see more information surface. I also want to think that this is the motor that they are using on the Gazoo Racing RC200t. Lots of that gold heat reflect stuff.

Our ‘engine’ will do much more than 250whp on the stock turbo. I knew everyone would look at it and assume crank. 250whp is a light tune holding around 14psi. Our turbo/engine can do much more than only hold 14 psi

Spec B appears to have a modified turbo, the modified turbo with bigger inlets/outlets and turbines will allow the stock turbo to hold boost better and safer. I highly highly doubt they did anything to the engine internals. Spec b at the most probably requires an upgraded intake manifold, fuel upgrade, exhaust and a modified turbo. If any of our internals needed upgrading it would be the pistons. If they swapped the aluminum alloy pistons to forged pistons then we could probably hit 500whp. The pistons are our only weak point on the our engine

Yea a lot of manufacturers are going this route, so soon we should see aftermarket turbos that can just bolt on.

It looks like the integrated exhaust manifold has its own oil cooling system. You can see it port right into the top of the manifold
