This bothers me!
A stock 1.5T engine with just a tune (+9PSI) that makes just at much power as mine with a tune and down pipe!
Just wait til they do the 2.0L type R. It's already pushing something like 285-300 wheel factory. Probably get it up to 330-350 wheel with a light tune.

Easily! If Honda ever decide to bring back a RWD platform like the S2000 with a turbo motor i will be all over that.
I understand that Toyota ECU's are very complex and being able to re-flash is still a new concept, but jeeze, this Civic will walk my car due to the power and weight.

Power, weight, and drivetrain configuration! FWD even less loss!
And Aero too. These new civics are extremely aero. This thing would pump on a highway pull.
fantastic little value. i'd prefer it to the type R because it's more stealth.
but still.. a Civic. i'm getting older, not younger.

I hear you, i'm 30 and i totally understand. Its just disappointing that a car at that price will outperform our IS200t. Yes its FWD and a Civic, but i am sure with FBO (also it has a manual transmission) and a tune that thing is pure fun.
