I bought a set of new TPMS from the dealer with discount. I think they’re $75 a pop. I didn’t want to deal with incompatibility issue so I just got the one for my ‘24 LC500.

For the programming of the new sensors, don’t pay the dealer or anyone to do it. The LC500 can learn two sets of TPMS. All you have to do is to go into the set up menu and register the new one. Drive it for 10-15mins, and it will read the new sensors.

No need to replace sensors from a 2023 car. If you're adding an additional set of wheels, they can be bought online easily and affordably. I used tpms.com to buy a set for a Porsche set of wheels (Huf brand) and they worked great. Discount Tire suggested I bring my own as they had bad luck with the ones they could provide for a Porsche.

I ordered sensors from tpms.com. They matched the OEM part number, were offered at a good price, and were pre-programmed. Thanks for the source, Jgbnm1.

Thanks Jgbnm1. The sensors from tpms.com hooked right up in less than 5 minutes of driving on my new HF-1s with Michelin AS4s.

@Jgbnm1 you happen to have part numbers you can share? Also have new wheels on order and need to get these.

Thanks!

I currently have the Michelin run flats that came with my car. 21" rims. I'd like to fill up the wheel well a bit when I need new tires. What size tires have guys gone with to achieve what I'm looking for? Front and rear sizes?

Running 21" wheels too. I dropped on RS-R springs to fill the gap. I lightened the crap out of the photo so you can see the gap a lil better. Still rides ultra plush, I can only tell a difference in the turns.

I am so torn on doing this. It seems from what I've read that people who have done this mod are 50/50 on it. Some say it ruins the ride, and others say they feel no difference. What kind of difference do you feel in the turns as you stated? I'm also wondering if it's worth it to get the active coilovers from RS-R that allow us LC owners to change the drive mode suspension feeling just like OEM. Not really sure if it's worth the $4k plus installation.

I went with the TEIN springs and honestly I cannot tell any difference from stock from a ride comfort standpoint. For that matter I can't really tell any handling benefit either because I don't really have anywhere around me to really put the screws to it on a daily basis.

So for me, the mod was primarily aesthetic and for $300 plus install, that was worth it. Also maintains the drive mode usability since it's only springs that were swapped, shocks and thus active dampening remain OEM. The clilovers are great but for me absolutely not worth it since I don't need height adjustability.

This plus going up one size on width when I replace tires will fill the wheel well as much as I want it to be.

How much did your local shop charge you for the install?

It was 5 hours labor plus shop supplies so got dinged for almost $1000 install, including the post install alignment. I didn't shop around much but the lowest quote I got was $750, the highest was $1800.

Perhaps it is the lighting of the photograph but it looks like iridium (Lighter/ brighter tone) rather than atomic silver. Regardless nice looking LC 500 and those Lexus wheels compliment it.

I personally didn't feel like it was worth the coilovers, all I do is drive it to get groceries, lol. There is a lot less body roll when going hard through a corner. That's without a doubt an improvement over how it took corners before. I totally disagree with these ruining the ride, I haven't experienced anything like that. The ride is still VERY comfortable, even in Sport+. If anything I actually wish it was a bit stiffer ride. When I dropped my Maserati on springs there was a huge difference in the ride, that got WAAAAY stiffer. Lexus ride comfort is just a thing, and these springs don't bother that, at all on my 2018.
