It was just very very slight seepage, it wasn't until I removed the cap and looked under it I really saw that the seal was obviously bad. Yeah it just evaporates out...
Theres a reason why they use HUDs in fighter jet applications, the adjustment of your focus increases reaction time.
Now with that said, does it matter in a car? Probably not.
Yep....in shooting using irons vs dots you get an insane advantage with the dot since you never have to switch focal planes. Shaves as much as .1 seconds on transitions even if you shoot at M level

Another good example. Again, does it need to translate to a car? Probably not. If somebody happened to step out in front of you at the instant you looked at the speedometer though, then that split second would matter.
I'm a big HUD fan. I have it on my GS. The digital speedometer and tachometer in the HUD display are nice but certainly not necessary. What I like the most is that my navigation instructions pop up on the HUD, so I don't have to glance over at the nav screen.
I will say I like the interior of the S Class and for a luxury car, I think it’s expected. The lighting is very pleasing.
I do miss my IS350. The quality of interior in my Civic is just fine for me, but I miss the red guts in my atomic silver 350. I miss the ventilated seats. I don’t miss the power as much as I thought I would. You can’t use 306 hp in SoCal very often.

Hybrid is the way to go in LA. It’s so gridlocked you can’t really have any fun anyway with cars and might as well get 40+ mpg. I could barely break double digits with my V8 LS430 when I lived there, lol. And that’s a somewhat efficient V8, LX would probably be 5MPG haha.

JDR76. Great point on the nav info in the HUD. Sadly the Apple car play stuff doesn’t work in the HUD or in the speedometer cluster for Toyota and Lexus
I’ve owned my 430 almost 12 years and the wheel is as silent as it was the day I bought it. LX has the newer Lexus wheel motors that make noise. They work great but you do hear them.
Worked on a very well kept 2016 Murano today, I'm actually quite pleased with the interior. It has the white cloth seats and "pearl" door/dash trim inserts.
Much better inside than a Q3/5 IMO, plastics are all softer and quieter. Doesn't drive well but that's not the point of these

Different quality of motors I’m sure. Lexus used the highest quality motors for those steering wheels and only on the LS…I’m sure GM hasn’t used the same quality motor. Motors do get louder as they age.

My cousin in law has one of these with the same interior, it is surprisingly nice. I have driven it a bunch of times (this is the cousin in WV with the rogue)
It also has 160,000 miles on it and has been very reliable.

The new Toyota/Lexus infotainment systems do pass through the turn by turn directions from CarPlay to the Cluster Screen and HUD, but only if you're using Apple Maps.
I do quite like the light colored interior of the Murano. I even like the popsicle stick colored wood grain. My god the Murano is outdated though. Hasn’t changed since 2015. Even then I think the underpinnings date back to 2002?

Yeah it's ancient. The first-gen was on the FF-L platform, but was revised heavily enough to be reclassified as the "D" platform in 2007 when the 2nd gen came out. The current gen is still on that platform. I used to get them as rentals which I greatly preferred over the Ford Edge.
