Yeah. She bought it used. My sister never buys new cars.

replacement blades or inserts? I just buy the rubber insert. But price did double and a half.

I barely use my wipers, I just coat the windshields so I actually haven't even checked if I need them on the Audis. Probably should though...

The inserts are the Denso inserts. What’s funny is only Toyota and Lexus sell the inserts, with Kia and Chrysler you have to buy the whole blade. O just spent $120 on new Denso blades front and rear for the Pacifica.

Theyre great, Denso! Same wipers as on my Chrysler lol. Your Santa Fe should also have the same wipers.

Very nice.

You could in theory buy the Toyota inserts and just use them on anything you want as long as it has a frame and you’d just need to figure out the size. Toyota and Lexus inserts for their premium Japan models used to have a small film them, they used to be more greyish

Finally got the van washed from the beach. I tell you, this carwash I have found is amazing. Only time I have ever felt I got my moneys worth at a carwash. I pay $65 a month and can get it washed once a day, I usually do it once a week or twice a month, a wash is $38 so it’s still worth it for the monthly. For an additional $35 they spend 40 minutes inside with a steam cleaner and they do an incredible job. They even took my wife’s jacket out and shook it out and vacuumed the dog hair off of it and folded it nice. Amazing.

I've had good results using P&S Bead Maker on the windshield after cleaning it thoroughly. I was really hesitant at first so tried it on a side window first. It dries totally clear without hazing or streaking and as you can imagine is really slick after it cures a bit. It doesn't last too long but stays slick and also makes it easy to clean off the bugs from a road trip.

On the side windows sure, on this car I would be concerned about it causing chattering on the windshield…on any other car I’m sure that works great!

Why not? If it's purely due to wipers getting angry that makes sense....they are crazy particular as you have said

Because of it making the wipers angry. The glass has to just be completely clean and free of anything.

I got the Denso designer wiper blades for my GS, which is the same ones that came on the car from the factory. So many car guys rave about the Bosch Icons. I don’t get all the hype. The Denso‘s are way better, and they look factory on my Lexus.

LS430 takes wiper inserts, I bought OEMs at least 5 years ago and they still work like new.

Pivoting wiper is neat and makes a difference.

Bit, does LC wiper have any "tricks" or do they just work really, really well.

Shame Mercedes got rid of the 1 wiper, it's an awesome piece of engineering and works better than regular ones in my other cars.

I always loved the pivoting wipers on the LS, they of course did away with those for the LS500.
