as a nerd i muddled through and it said it could determine there were no fault codes so i'm good, i think.
but shouldn't a check engine light, even if it's only on briefly, store a code?
$200 more okay? I'll see what is out there....
No it may not, engine codes and other codes are also self clearing to and extent. If you drive for 5 starts or one full readiness cycle and the issue doesn't come back it will clear
I've been very happy with my Foxwell NT530. It's $170 for one brand, and $80 for each additional brand. You didn't specify what kind of car your SO has, otherwise I could provide a direct link.
You see non-stop Miata cars. I see non-stop Subaru anything around here.
Every single morning this week on the way to work, I was tailed closely by an irritating Subaru driver. Doing 65 in a 60 in the right lane, big deal. Moron still decided to follow close. The one today got brake treatment so he backed off until my exit.

Yes, Subies are definitely popular in your part of the country. They are also very popular in the D.C. area here, much of the interior Northeast, West Virginia, and the Rockies. And what is interesting is that the Crosstrek, with its higher ground-clearance, vastly outsells its lower-stance Impreza brother wit the same AWD system.
TGIF everyone!
OMG I'm exhausted, I been working around the clock 24/7 with only taking time to sleep and the weekend will not be rest but rather to catch up on work for peeps who need their machines running.

Funny thing is I hardly see any Subarus don here in South Fl.
Seeing some here and there but not too many.
That 1968 Mercedes interior looks very nice. Doesn't really date itself IMO
The biggest difference is probably the quality of materials used. 1960s vintage Mercedes products were built like tanks....the 1950s models even more so.
