well it looks of a luxury asian car rather than a petrie dish of audi mercedes bmw.
See, I see just the opposite. Both the Genesis and Equus look like "off brand" Lexuses to me. Not that theres anything wrong with that, but there is nothing distinctive about the Genesis at all IMHO.
it doesnt look like XC70 in real life, it looks like more luxurious version of 508 SW.
Problem with Peugeot is that they age badly. Look at 1yr old models on the lot and see how you like them.
Peugeots are one of the better selling brands around here, due to lower price when new. Problem is that they drop in value quickly due to reliability issues. At least around here.

Hehe I see I see.
But IMHO, the Peugeot 508 is still fresh. I also look forward to the new 308 series as well =)
In my country, Peugeot is seen as somewhere in between Korean + Japanese car brands and the Premium Euro brands (i.e. German Big 3 + Jaguar and the like). The only other brand that is present here is Volkswagen that just arrived last month.
From the other camp, VW looks promising..........though the initial lineup here only consists of four vehicles (Touran, Tiguan, Jetta and Touareg). The rest (i.e. Polo, Golf and Beetle will arrive next year).
Right now though, I only like two of them. The Touran (since it's diesel and is priced below 2 million pesos) and the Touareg (since it's currently the only VW in PH will Push Button Start).
Unfortunately, our Touareg HAS NO POWER SEATS since only base models are sold here since VW considers us as a "test market"
ya but for 39k the 2013 R spec genesis sedan looks very very enticing. That's a killer price.

I agree with Tantrix - the current Gen sedan looks much better than the current GS, and IMO the '07-11 LS as well. I do like the new spindle-grill LS, though.
The interior of the Genesis sedan definitely can't hold a candle to the GS, however; I'll give you that.

Styling is subjective, but while the Genesis is a good looking car overall, theres nothing unique about it. The current GS at least has the spindle grill, and athletic lines along the side and fender wells.
It has nowhere near the presence of the 07-11 LS either. The LS is a car that has a size and presence in person that doesn't translate to pictures.
Well, I became the owner of a 2013 Genesis 5.0 R-spec last night. Had to get out of my 2013 Azera lease due to more travel with this job and I ended up getting the car for $14K UNDER list. Incentives plus I work for a supplier so received a huge discount there. Having had a 2011 Genesis I was already familiar with the platform but the difference in power is absolutely stunning. Midrange passing power is on par with Mercedes 500E of past; 80-110 comes in a hurry.
Yes, I bought an outgoing model year but from a fiscally responsible standpoint I couldn't pass it up. My payment only went up $100/month and I OWN this.
