congrats Gofast. my co worker has a 2010 genesis 4.6 and it's a solid car . meaning no cheap thunk or hollow sound when closing the door

 

Absolutely a no brainer over the Azera!

 

what was the final price u got it at before tax and licence ?

 

A hair under $34K.

 

Actually, the Azera with Technology package (19's, pano roof, etc) was a great car and just as quiet as the Genesis. I just really grew tired of people mistaking it for a Sonata. Snobby, I know.

 

Great car, but nowhere near as dynamic or as fun to drive as a Genesis.

 

show me a chinese copy better executed than this. i wonder what you would say if this was new GS. you really are something.

 

I don't find this executed that great since it lacks originally and attention to detail, so there are several Chinese copies that have roughly the same execution. I'm not willing to go through the effort to post them all here.

If this was the new GS? It's not the new GS. If it was, I'd be extremely disappointed. No point in talking about imagined outcomes

have you even see those chinese copycats? dude they are like gazillon times worse than this.

my conclusion - better than the last gen, but still not there yet. interior still has long long way to go.

 

looks pretty good IMO.

 

Those shots actually look good. Rear end looks very sleek and surprisingly sexy? Unlike the boring rears of the E-Class, 5-Series and even the A6.

 

I like it, I also like how its got some of its own look and lines in the front.

Inside I agree, very plain. If anything I think the outgoing car was a little more elegant inside. Obviously we need to see better pictures and sit in it ourselves...

 

still think transition from the hood to this 'piece' above the grill looks terrible.
