i think they're now focusing on more targeted events, not just the unwashed masses at regional car shows.

Genesis has a huge problem...lack of hybrids
their ice engine car fuel economy seems poor. anyway, the hybrids are coming:

back to BMW,.....No 3 series but BMW rocked the show.
The only people who care about hybrids are the people who care about the price of gas IMO, you don't care past a certain point what your MPG is as long as range is good. My S4 is annoying not because of 16-17 mpg but because it only gets 300 miles max and pisses me off that I have to stop near 2x as often as the other cars

Exactly. Lexus is really is closer to a mainstream brand like Toyota than they are a Mercedes or BMW. Lots of people want hybrids.

After a hybrid owner, whenever I’m in the hybrids I find myself subconsciously driving for MPGs. Whenever I’m not driving a hybrid I really don’t care about mpg.

Whenever my wife is behind the wheel of one of the hybrids, she’s drives like she’s on a qualifying lap.

Hybrids are no longer about just fuel economy, it is now also about power. Original RX400h was marketed about having your V8 and your MPGs at the same time.

many paths, friend

And it compares how to a same year BMW or Mercedes or Audi V8 suv? Or any same year domestic with the big engine option?

What is wrong with options? I would love for them to put the PHEV into the GLS and the X7.

In the Pacifica I don’t think about MPG but I do enjoy not using fuel for the most part at all, and I enjoy driving it in full EV mode.

We would be interested.

Just learned there’s an PHEV X3. Saw it at auction. I believe it was a 2021. It didn’t sell but the seller was asking $32k. Forget how many miles.

There is also a PHEV X5 with the B58. GLE comes in a PHEV too but it’s the 4 cyl.

I would buy a GLS580e with the S Class I6 PHEV system over a GLS450 or a GLS580.

Personally speaking. I think the plug in part is kinda pointless. But I know you both appreciate them
