BMW M340xi
I've been a fairly long time member in the BMW community going back just about 20 years. I had my run with 7 BMWs including a couple of Ms. For the most part they were great. Just a LOT of babysitting and feeding oil, fuel, and other fluids constantly. And seals, gasket replacement seemingly every other month. And brake pads and brake dust. I had constant orders streaming through all the german parts places. a TON of upkeep. Oil pump nuts backing off, rear main seals, gaskets, emissions pumps, VANOS rebuilding, etc. I've done so many of each. It taught me a lot though and I think it was a great tool as a younger male at the time learning about cars and how to wrench on them. In fact I made quite a bit of extra cash wrenching on them back in the day for friends, family, and neighbors.
Either lease or buy if you have extreme DIY skills and/or a competent trustworthy and cheap mechanic to go to. Reliable for the most part, just requires upkeep and constant monitoring.

How many miles on the LC500?
Like the 5.0L V8 , my 4.0L is ancient. But at least I don’t have to use premium fuel.

about 9500 i think but it's not my main vehicle.
main vehicle (ev) has over 13k in about 16 months. 0 maintenance cost. still about 4c a mile, so that's $520 (or $32/mo.) in running costs.
