There's one at my local dealer 2022 with all that but it's missing the M brakes. Why would you have all that but cheap out on a $650 brake option. That brake option is like more than $3k after the fact.
Not sure about the G30, but on some of the older BMWs (like my E90), the "M performance brakes" were just the standard calipers with paint on them. No performance benefit whatsoever, unless you had a base model (would have been 330i in my case) that came with smaller brakes to begin with. You can get calipers painted or powdercoated in any color you want.

You may not want to hear this but your much more likely to find this spec in an M550. I work at a Bmw store and 540s don’t get built like that often. You’re kind of looking for a custom built used car.

If you go M550, make sure you get a 20+, as those have the TU3 version of the N63, and should be a good bit more reliable(and a lot more powerful).

100%

The M brakes on 540i are a very rare option.
M550 has the N63 V8 while nice will have much more issues if you plan to keep it over 50k miles.

OP - have you considered X3 M40i. It has all the sport options like the M brakes/ Msuspension/ higher output B58 etc. i cross-shopped both cars and think the M40i is the better package.

I love the N63, every single one I have seen always gives me at least $3k!

Wont find vent seats on an X3 M40. Seems he would need to compromise on something.

Not another SUV. My RX350 is enough. I despise SUV. While practical, I hate everything about it.

I’m looking at ‘21-23 M550 also because it’s so easy to get those options I wanted. However, at mid 50s to low 60s, why don’t I just get an ‘21-22 LS500 that has all the options I want and it would feel just like home and I probably don’t have to worry about reliability.
I’m in no rush. I have until October/November to really find the need for it.

BMW 5 series is rated as the most depreciated vehicle. But how come I’m finding it so hard to believe so on the ‘21-23 540i Xdrive. 2022 with 70k msrp when new still command 50k with over 20k miles. And in reality, what 70 msrp probably sold at 63-65k. Is it really going to drop to 35k in two years as some article suggests that 5 series will lose half of its value in 5 years.

LS500 is a luxury car and if buying used I imagine it can be costly to own long term- like any other luxury car.

Just a guess though, I don't know this for a fact.

For relIability I'd choose something less luxury.

This is why a Used GS350 is hard to beat.

Because the 5 with a V8 outclasses any LS and is more reliable. The Toyota/Lexus 3.4 is horrible, we have multiple people on this forum alone with repeat engine failure in the LS500 and you have to deal all that to be outrun by a 3.0 class engine from the Germans.

Define beat? I test drive two GSFs and was very underwhelmed with both livery appointments vs even an LS to say nothing of the fact this "hot" Lexus was barely up to mid level versions of its rivals.

Yes sir but you're looking for one with special options, if I understand.

Can you point me to those threads on the LS500 engine issue? I know the LX600/Tundra/Sequoi engine being recalled but I haven’t heard much on the LS500.

I don’t need or have the desire to track any of my car. And I also don’t like to work on them other than wheels changes.
