VWs EV software is horrible that turned people off. Bad range didn't help. They had such a great opportunity to make the "next minivan' and blew it. To be fair no one else has made a modern Microbus style van either. I love these so much, a friend recently bought one retrofitted with a Nissan V6.

it needs to be a lot more efficient. In the end, big battery helps for first 300 miles, after that it is all about efficiency and charging performance.
Having to stop every 150 miles would be tiring on very long trips.

I know and it's baffling as to why, I find it hard to believe the only reason is PR (does anyone actually care?). The real story is why Lucid loses so much money.
