Quote: Nope, USD. I’m heading to Boston for Thanksgiving and Tesla chargers range between $.49 and $.55. EA stations along the same path can go as high as $.64 which is ridiculous
just fyi, it is $0.29/$0.43 per kw in Boston in a Tesla.

Quote: Yep, they had both but then they also had a row of actual Tesla superchargers, those have been there for a few years, these are new. I didn't check but nobody was using them and the Tesla chargers were full, so my guess is more than Tesla...
makers of those generic green/white chargers have to charge more to get back the money for the bribes they paid to get them in there. problem is, people don’t want to use them.

There are no V2s left here where I live, most have been replaced with v4. Also new Tesla superchargers are popping up like mushrooms, all v4s

^^^ incredible RR electric car, but those gigantic coupe doors aren’t great, although reverse opening makes them easier to get in and out of (if you have several feet of space beside to open them!).

WIth cars like that, it's a catch 22. I would have a hard time deciding whether to self park, or give the keys to your 400K car to a 17 year old valet. 1st world problems lol

The nice thing about not being into ultralux cars(not that I could afford them anyway) is not having to worry about that

Depending on how generous your tip is, the 17yr old valet may leave your 400k car exactly where you want and he/she will never get inside of it, just hold your keys.

<—— former valet who’s valet a Phantom and Flying Spur numerous times. I actually drove/parked the flying spur.

No tip…general population you go. 🙃

I always avoid valets if possible. Sometimes you have no choice but I always tip them well upfront.

i think i’ve only ever found one valet i couldn’t avoid in my own car. at the Four Seasons in maui this year (where i wasn’t staying lol) i’ve no idea if they have ‘self-parking’ but it was a rental (i was using rented and paid for by someone staying there) so who cares.
