I don’t see how anybody can say the 7 Series is boring lol. It may be lots of other things, but it’s not boring.

I actually think they look really good in dark colors, my neighbor has an all blacked out one and it is sharp...but definitely not for everyone.

Anyone else excited about the Slate truck? Cheaper than alot of SxS's and more utility honestly. Last i heard it was supposed to start under $20k.

I really like the idea, I hope they are successful. The only problem I foresee is the wait, which is late 2026

Manufacturers literally can't win lol. You make something understated with plan sides and people call it boring, you make something more dramatic and bold and people call it hideous. I applaud BMW for just saying **** it and building what they want and they are finding consumers. The 7 Series is the dominant player in a segment now that they have never been #1 in ever before.

I have a reservation for one. The problem they are going to face is that low predicted price was after factoring in the now canceled federal tax credit. It's still a decent value IMO even without the credit and it has a lot of unique features, but it's going to be a tougher sell than it once was. I just got an invite from Slate to attend a preview next month.

Thats specifically the i7. The 7 Series as a whole outsold the S Class in 2024 and has so far YTD in 2025.

the road presence comment was referring to the size of the BMW 7 series. There was a trend where sleek, low hood and sleeker styling was the thing. The EQS looks bad and the Tesla S looks like it belongs in the midsize segment.

They do look massive, and they make even big cars like the S Class look small by comparison
