We were talking about crazy deals on the EQS and some were doubting the deals I was sharing, check this one out. Dealer demo with 4k miles, effective payment is $196.21/mo. $4,710 total to drive it for 2 years!

It's so much better than the 450 4matic, 536 hp, the torque, the hyperscreen, just overall upgrade. And I get 3 payments back from MBFS for the pull-ahead program because my current EQS was a 1-pay. So I get back like $2250.

Let's be direct about the car itself: the technology is brilliant.

The design, however, is polarizing. It does not have the timeless, stately appeal of an S-Class. And yet, its controversial shape gets a surprising amount of attention on the road, and I've grown to appreciate its design.

But the debate over styling becomes almost irrelevant at this price point. It’s hard to imagine anyone experiencing this level of technology and comfort, for the price I paid, and not "giving it a whirl."

In the end, a deal like this is only possible when you understand the market's specific weaknesses. The polarizing design, a high starting price, fierce competition, and depreciation falling faster than a two-ton boulder—these factors created the perfect financial opening. That market reality, combined with my negotiating skills, is what made something this spectacular possible. For that, I have zero complaints.

Does your S Class do the weird stuttered swipe of the washer fluid? You know what I'm talking about, right?

No it operates clean. Does the EQS have the magic vision wipers where the fluid comes out of the wipers?

If you hold the wiper button it will slowly spread fluid and then wait 15 seconds for it to penetrate before wiping.

That actually describes what I was trying to find out if yours had. The slow discharge and the way it works are pretty cool. I wish the EQS had it. I had a 2025 S-Class loaner, and at first, I thought the wipers were malfunctioning until I realized how smart they were.

EQS doesn't get magic vision control? And they wonder why people don't see this as an electric S class.
