Are they really giving the EQS a 27% discount off MSRP? Or did you plug that in?
They have $21,500 in incentives, so that means it’s $21,500 off and the dealer is still selling at full profit. Thats an additional 10% off, so $12,500 off plus $21,500 off for a total of $34,000 off.
If you qualify for loyalty you would get an additional $5k off so it would be $39k off. Crazy deals.
You would only get the loyalty and the 10% off if you didn’t lease, so you leave $21,500 on the table.
We talk about leasing something absolutely brand new sometime, I think leasing would be best. The newest car we've ever had was 2 years old.. I'm not interested in owning any more than what we have. I wouldn't care if our new leased car never was in the garage, for example. If the Benz spent one night outside it would be ruined to me lol.
My car habit is getting expensive, but I really don't give a flip. It's my passion and hobby.
Absolutely, the lease the residual is locked in you just give it back and you don’t have to worry about the depreciation.
I'm sure you know this already, in many cases (the exception being during the pandemic when used car prices shot up), the dealership will either resell the car as a CPO, or they will return it to the leasing company who usually auctions it off. My last two leases, at lease one of the cars were returned to the leasing companies who sent them to auction because the residual was way higher than the car's value

Most companies don’t automatically let the dealer who takes it in have it as a CPO, dealers all pull from a central lease return auction for their CPOs. But yeah you’re right they do often get auctioned off because the residuals are way high.

you didn't bob04 did to which you replied, as i pointed out. you were commenting on his post - you didn't amend that you were talking about deals for the MUCH cheaper 450. but details don't matter apparently. it's all about self-congratulation on pointing out how smart people can get deals mortals can't.
Do you not have any family to enjoy on Christmas Eve?
wow, cheap shot. i won't respond in kind. but i had a wonderful evening thanks.

I said all along exactly what the MSRP of the car I was talking about was, and I have clearly shown all the numbers. If you can’t wrap your head around it I’m sorry, everybody else can.
