Purty. I see you installed the water ports. Are you indeed going to use them?

No I don't plan to for now. They are supposed to be for extreme racing applications. I don't want to make a coolant mess right now and have more potential leaks. I don't plan to have any kind of road racing or circle track abuse going on either. But maybe in the future; just doesn't seem necessary for now.

Made a big decision to really step up my build so I can stop having issues in the future. In addition to the Tial waste gate upgrade, I'm also installing a Tial Q BOV. And to make my power goal of 800whp, I am upgrading the turbo to a quality Garrett in a very nice late model design. The GTX3582R Gen2 with a .82 A/R. This will replace my .68 A/R CXRacing knock off of the old style GT3582R. The GTX is much better in every way and with the .82 turbine, I think I'll have a very quick turbo that can meet my 800whp goal. It will also pretty much plu and play to my existing set up. On top of that I installed an AEM electronic boost controller too. So things should be looking good for my performance goals.

I am also looking into PHR's dual/triple pump hanger so I don't FML by chancing any fuel starvation issues. I need to run good quality parts and very sufficient systems to protect my fresh engine build. No more cheap parts and hacked together fuel hanger lol. All expensive stuff. Wish me luck!

Garrett GTX3582R Gen2 installed . Next is taking the IC pipe that has the bov hole in it to a shop I know of that does good aluminum welding for my Tial Q bov flange.

New Tial bov installed, all back together and running. The Garrett turbo is audibly louder. Can hear the impeller spinning. Sounds cool. Just need to put a little miles on her, swap in my 1200cc injectors and go in for tuning. Hope break-in goes well. New engine, new trans, new diff, and new turbo + several other parts and fuel system upgrades.

Looking good. Obviously you're breaking it in still, but I'm interested to hear your impressions on your stall (I'll have to go back and look to see what you went with) and the transmission build. Diff too! Once you get the injectors installed, what are you targeting as far as boost? Do you have a hp target?

Thanks guys! Well if I'm not limited from my fuel pump, I am looking for 700-800hp. Maybe in the 20's psi boost for that? Not sure. The TC is the same OEM but re-stalled to 3200. I'll let you know my thoughts on it when I can. The car ins't all that drivable, needs tuning. Won't go into boost really, so not enough response to be able to tell anything. I can drive it around sluggishly, but the car is totally reliant on the turbo for power now since it's been tuned that way before. Once I get some miles on it and change oil again, I'll throw my injectors in and tow it to the tuner.

It's been a while, but I am finally going to finish this project. Or at least the stage that I am on now. Lost motivation for a while after some major setbacks. All that needs done is my larger injectors swapped in and the tuning done. Scheduling it for about 2 weeks out. All I care about at this point is that it all holds together, will be happy with less power than I anticipate even. But wish me luck on the 800whp goal!
