actually i saw someone with a woodgrain (momo?) auto shift *** that he replaced his dildomatic with. he gave a quick rundown and a picture, do a search and you should be able to come up with that thread.
I am replacing the center console trim piece that run around the outside of the center console - the radio volume ****, the temp control, emerg. flashers, etc, all poke through this piece.
It seems that I need to remove the shift control piece (where the ECT switch, and the PRD2L letters are) in order to lift out the console trim piece. But it won't lift over the leather part of the shift lever (where overdrive button is located) as it gets wider the higher you go.
Any suggestions on this?
Thanks,
Brad

Well, i just found the answer myself about 5 mins later so I thought I would save everyone some time and post it myself. I found it on the instructions for a very cool cell phone holder that mounts in the cup holder slot located to the right of the radio.
Here is the thread if you would like to see a pic of this item:
Begin by applying the emergency brake, then shift into neutral. Push down cover at base of shift lever and remove two screws. Remove shift indicator face panel.
That's it!

The pedals for the SC300 and the SC400 are in essence the same, so if you can find something to fit the SC300, like the Levoc (which I have heard from many isnt close to a perfect fit), it will work in the same manner. Levoc is the only option Ive heard of too though so, if you like to mod.....the floors yours.
